Cost of Living Relief

26-27 State Budget overview

Cost of Living Support for Midland Seniors.

Many seniors in Midland are feeling the pressure of rising everyday costs, which is why there are a range of supports available to help with household expenses, transport, healthcare and staying connected in the community.

Seniors Cost of Living Rebate

The Seniors Cost of Living Rebate provides direct financial support to eligible WA seniors to help with rising living expenses.

Eligible WA Seniors Card members may be able to access the rebate to assist with everyday costs including utilities, groceries and other household expenses.

Seniors are encouraged to ensure their details are up to date so they don’t miss out on available support.

If you need help checking eligibility or accessing support, my office is always happy to assist.

Other Support Available for Seniors

  • Free off-peak public transport for seniors and pensioners
  • WA Seniors Card discounts across a wide range of businesses and services
  • Grandcarers Support Scheme assistance for grandparents raising grandchildren
  • Stamp duty relief for eligible seniors
  • Free flu, FluMist and RSV vaccines for eligible Western Australians

My office is committed to helping Midland seniors stay informed about available programs, rebates and community support services.
